Vehicle Description
There are work trucks, and then there are trucks that are loved and
cared for by their owners. This is the latter. You'll notice
immediately that this 1993 Chevrolet K1500 has led the life of a
luxury car. Originally from Virginia, famous for its nice weather
and beaches, the odometer shows a low 63,220 miles as of this
writing. And even then, the vehicle could pass for a much lower
mileage unit. The gray metallic paint is still brilliant and
contrasts excellently with the white side panels and tailgate. All
the trim looks great. The interior presents amazingly well, and
it's a gray Silverado interior - a perennial favorite. Under the
hood, more of the same. The engine room is clean and tidy, with no
lower quality aftermarket doo dads to affect the excellent
performance of the 350 cubic inch V8. This is an engine that is
torquey, reliable, and smooth, and really doesn't need a lot of
"improvement." More smoothness is on tap from the proven 4-speed
automatic. With all the luxury and quiet, it's easy to forget this
is a 4x4 -- and a true 4x4 with a two-speed transfer case. A thick
rim steering wheel on a tilt column provides maximum driving
comfort. The gray cloth interior is indeed luxurious with feature
content that would make a Cadillac proud. Power steering, brakes,
windows, locks, cruise control, and air conditioning are all
present and accounted for. An AM/FM/ Cassette (you'll have a place
to play your collection) stereo keeps you company. That this is a
truck you can love is demonstrated by the fact that it's had only
one previous owner. Whether you had the pleasure to own one of
these in the past, or you're just looking for a good looking, solid
truck, this 1993 K1500 Silverado shortbed is ready for many more
years of loyal service.
