Vehicle Description
Here is one of the finest examples of an all original 1959 Cadillac
Deluxe Coupe DeVille that you will ever see. With only 26,451 miles
on the odometer, this Cadillac has to one of the lowest mile,
unmolested Coupe DeVille's on the Planet. In all my years of
judging car shows and driving cars over the Mecum auction block, I
have never seen a more perfect example of a Survivor of a Benchmark
car in my life. No pictures have been retouched. The pictures don't
do this car justice. The paint, chrome, glass and trim are ALL
original and has never been touched and is excellent or like new
condition. The original Georgian Blue acrylic lacquer paint doesn't
even have any signs of checking whatsoever....NONE! The weather
stripping is still like new with absolutely no signs of wear or
cracking. This car has basically only been in two families it's
entire life. The current owner has inherited the car from her late
Father who's owned it since 1970. It has always been garage kept
and you can tell by it's unbelievable condition. The only items
that have been changed are mostly mechanical items such as: tune up
parts, battery, belts & hoses, exhaust, fuel pump, gas tank, fuel
lines and shocks. The current owner recently added a dual master
cylinder and an adjustable proportioning valve for safety reasons.
The owner also had the heads removed, a complete valve job
performed with hardened seats installed for the valves so unleaded
fuel can be ran safely. The transmission was completely gone
through with all new seals added. This Caddy does not leak a drop
of oil. The undercarriage is bone dry and has not been resprayed to
hide anything. All floors from front to back are rock solid with no
rust. Everything works on this car except the clock! All power
accessories: seats, windows, radio, antenna, horn,
blower...etc...work perfectly. The original carb was rebuilt as
well. This car is 100% roadworthy and can be driven anywhere with
confidence. Please look at all 200 pictures of this survivor. Look
at the little things like the ash tray rubber stops, the clarity of
the instrument panel lenses and bezels, underneath the
dash....etc...every original nut, bolt and screw is still in place
since 1959. Not many cars out there can say the same. *** FINANCING
