inside a dry Hayward California garage since 1979; superb
original-metal body, no accidents ever; arrow straight body gaps;
solid original floors; original paint in jams and trunk, engine
compartment; numbers-matching 3.8 liter engine; original interior.
When we purchased this Jaguar it had not been started or moved in
40 solid years. Our lead tech cleaned the fuel system, cleaned the
carburetors, and it started right up and now runs smoothly, with
good compression on all cylinders. New tires. All other mechanical
systems need to be checked prior to driving. Excellent example of a
factory-solid 1964 E-type that can be enjoyed as-is with some minor
work, or a good candidate for restoration as it requires virtually
