Vehicle Description
Properly stored from 1954 until the late-1990s, when it received a
sympathetic restoration, this stately 1947 Lincoln Continental V-12
Cabriolet presents beautifully. It has been well cared for and it
shows in the impressively straight, solid body and well-preserved
interior. The hydraulic windows and top work fine, and this
magnificent motor car runs and drives very well. These grand
Lincolns represent a great value in the collector car market.
Serviced and safety checked, this car is ready to go. Being shown
at the Hemmings Concours 2019.
There were 738 Lincoln Continental convertibles built in 1947.
The Continental had 4" sectioned out of the body/hood, elimination
of the built-in running boards, and an extra foot in length added
to the front fenders.. The Continental bodies have a lot of lead in
them, being truly hand-built.
