Anniversary Carroll Shelbys original GT500, the supercharged,
500-horsepower 2007 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 debuted as the most
powerful production Mustang ever created. Looking, sounding,
performing, and handling as any car with the legendary Shelby name
should, the aggressive GT500 featured a supercharged 5.4-liter V-8
under the bulged hood. As expected, performance of the new GT500
was incredible, with 0-to-60 sprints in the 4-second range. While
electronically limited to a 155-mph top speed, the new GT500s rated
power output, transmission ratios and rear-end gearing suggested a
theoretical top speed of some 175 mph. In all, the new-generation
2007 GT500 is a true modern-day supercar on all possible
counts.With extremely careful, single-owner care and less than
1,500 miles from new (1,476 miles at time of writing), this
outstanding 2007 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 was specially ordered
via Webb Ford Inc. of Indianapolis in November 2006. It was
assembled in February 2007 and finished in Code HP Performance

820A, the GT500 was also equipped with Driver & Passenger Air Bags,
ABS, Traction Control, a Power 6-Way Drivers Seat, the GT500
Premier Trim Package including Shelby Blue Stripes ($595), the
Shaker 1000 Audio System ($1,295), plus mandatory Gas Guzzler Tax
($1,300). Taxes, shipping, other charges and a generous premium
over list price raised the balance due on delivery for this 2007
GT500 to more than $60,000. Following purchase in March 2007, the
GT500 driven sparingly and only in favorable weather conditions,
with the first and only rainy-day drive taking place when the GT500
was delivered just recently in August 2019 to The Last Detail!
