This 1959 Maserati 3500 GT is one of 1,973 Touring-bodied coupes
built between 1957 and 1964 and was dispatched to dealer Franco
Cornacchia in Milan, Italy two days after its production date of
July 25, 1959. The car later moved to California, where it was
purchased in the 1970s by two brothers who kept it in storage for
some 30 years before one of them initiated a five-year
refurbishment in 2009. Its 3.5-liter DOHC inline-six was rebuilt
prior to the long-term storage period and is paired with a ZF
four-speed manual transmission that was shipped to Germany for an
overhaul during the refurbishment. Additional work included
rebuilding the Weber carburetors, a repaint in factory blue,
reupholstering the ivory interior, suspension and brake overhauls,
and more as outlined below. This Tipo 101 is now offered on
consignment in Emeryville, California with factory documentation, a
Maserati Certificate of Origin, manuals, refurbishment photos, and
a clean Texas title. This listing is live now, and only for 7 days,
