This 1967 Chevy II Nova Pro-Street is pure eye candy with only 800
miles. Owner just recently spent $3,500 on the 17x4.5 & 15x10
Billet specialties, street light black and Mickey Thompson tires.
The massive 540 CI big block Chevy engine bearing casting #
10051107 with forged internal and Canfield aluminum heads, and
Edelbrock aluminum intake with a Demon carburetor, MSD pro Billet
aluminum distributor and MSD 6AL box, along with a nice cam that
isn't too lumpy. The engine is a Mark IV 4 bolt main bow tie block.
She runs nice and cool with a 4 core Griffin radiator and an
electric fan that has an adjustable thermostat. The big block Chevy
is adapted to a stout 4 speed manual top loader transmission by a
SFI Bellhousing with an hydraulic clutch and Hurst shifter that
pushes the power back to the 9' Ford rear end with a posi unit with
4:56 gears. The headers with dual 3' exhaust gives this beast a
nice rumble. Heidts front end independent suspension with rack and
pinion steering along with a beautifully engineered fully boxed and
tied frame that is tied to a rear end that consists of a 4 link
suspension set up with coil over shocks. She tracks and handles
beautifully going down the road. The car has line lock in case you
feel the need to burn some rubber. This is a beautiful pro street
car that was tastefully done throughout and shows beautifully. This
car has a full 8 point roll cage that also has break away bars to
make it easy to get in and out. Current owner is 6' tall and fits
comfortably in this car. This car is an extremely clean and solid
machine. The undercarriage is clean as well as the trunk
compartment which has been tastefully done in tweed to match the
interior. The paint is a nice Chevy Hugger Orange, the windows are
tinted dark and a cowl induction hood gives her a stealth sleeper
look. There is also plenty of room for bigger tires. Currently
rears are 30x12.00R15LT and fronts are 27x6.00R17LT. This car has
zero issues or leaks.
