Vehicle Description
You are looking at a 1983 Chevrolet K10 Short bed that over the
last two years has been built for current owner and his wife at a
local hot rod shop near in their area. The truck is put together
flawlessly with every single part, nut and bolt brand new.
Absolutely no money was spared during this build as owners thought
they could enjoy it together for the rest of their lives. Now that
the truck is complete owners are reluctantly having to sell it due
to health reasons. They just received the truck back from the
builder a month ago and it only has 70 miles on it! The truck has a
brand new Fast burn 385c.i. (the dyno tested at 428hp) Chevy
performance engine with an FI Tech fuel injection system and a full
March performance serpentine belt drive. The automatic transmission
and transfer case are both brand new as well as the front and rear
differentials with new gears, lockers, and all new bearings. All
brand new leaf springs and shocks with rare factory dual shocks up
front and the complete steering system is all brand new. Rear
brakes have been updated to disc instead of drums. The brake system
has been converted from vacuum booster to a modern hydra boost
system, it stops better than when it was new from the factory. The
firewall has been completely shaved clean and so have the insides
of fenders. The hood has a custom insulation panel installed on it
as well. The cab has been converted to flush mount glass front and
rear as all the new vehicles have. Led lights all the way around in
factory lenses to keep the appearance correct. New wheels, beauty
rings, center caps and tires. New complete billet front grille and
headlight assemblies. All new bumpers and all chrome. Every piece
of the interior is brand new as well. There is not one piece of
this truck that has not been replaced. It is better than when it
came off the showroom floor! The truck has also been converted to a
key-less ignition with push button start from a new Lexus.
