Vehicle Description
A true survivor! This 1975 Cadillac Eldorado convertible with
61,000 original miles runs like new! Current owner purchased this
Cadillac from the original owner(his brother-in-law's father) 12
years ago. The car is almost completely original. The paint is 90%
original. Owner replaced the plastic fender and quarter panel
extensions when bought 12 years ago. Other than those and a few
touch ups, the paint is original. It was a special order color from
Cadillac. It was shipped with 2 extra quarts of Lacquer paint when
the vehicle was purchased new. The paint has since dried up but
owner did have some new touch up paint made that is included with
the car. The 500c.i.d. engine runs great! (it'll pass anything but
a gas station) The tires and brakes are good. The interior is
decent but does have some cracking on the door panels and the
leather seats show some wear. The power convertible top works well.
The top itself is showing it's age. If you plan on storing the car
in a garage it would probably be fine for a few more years, but if
it's going to sit outside you may want to consider replacing the
top as it does leak into the trunk when it rains hard. Power seats,
locks, windows, antenna all work well. It has the original am/fm
8-track stereo. It has been a few years since it's had a real
detailing. (polish the chrome, clean the leather, etc.) The car is
in very good condition for being almost 45 years old but it is not
a Concours d' Elegance contender. It has some rust starting on the
lower panels and it has 45 years worth of patina. What it is though
is a super fun weekend cruiser that gets thumbs up and smiles
wherever it goes. Owner would trust driving this car across the
country today. Please Note The Following **Vehicle Location is at
