This 5 Speed. 3.0 SC is in excellent mechanical condition. I am a car dealer, however I do not deal with classics. Bought this car for myself. Loved the miles and overall condition of it. I have been enjoying it for about a year but is time to let car go. Vehicle was purchased at an auction then taken to a professional shop. Took down powertrain and replaced clutch, reverse gear (working but tech recommended to replace it), shifter bushings, seals. Checked all engine. replaced some seals, spark plugs and some more, paint engine. we noticed head bolts job have been done. Compression showed 100 in all cylinders. and 9%,10%,18%,11%18%,10% in cylinder leakage test. Kuehl A/C compressor was installed to be ready for summer. Few other repairs were done to have the vehicle as perfect as possible.
Car drives perfect. Suspension is great. vehicles does not bounce or make funny noises. it brakes with no issues and does not steer to any of the sides either when stoping or when driving in a straight line.
Power windows, power mirror, cruise control, wipers, horn, power seats (all positions) All work properly.
Leather seats look superb and mats are brand new (high quality type Porsche approved)
Muffler sound is beautiful but can be a little loud for some people (one of the things I love the most of this car.)
Now the tricky part. The Body: Vehicle is in great exterior shape however does not have the original paint. front driver side fender seems a little discolored but not very noticeable. Very minor rust not bigger than a quarter coin in maybe 2 or 3 places. Rust is not a see thru and can be treated and painted over. I will show this issues in the pictures.
Targa top is in great shape. Not brand new but great for a 41 year old vehicle. I have not notice any sustancial leakage from it. I have driven this car in the rain few times and the vehicle has been left outside few times as well. I have seen few drops of water but nothing major.
Tires are in great shape but mismatched. Contis in the front and Toyos in Rear
I will try to keep this description as fair as possible. I am basically selling a great everyday driver (if desired) that will bring lots of fun. Something that is reliable and that has plenty of life in it.
