This V8 Vantage Coupe is the last Vantage Coupe produced by Aston Martin Lagonda Limited for importation into the USA market. It was special ordered with a factory sunroof (1 of only 7 within the total production of the X-Pack bodied V8 Vantage model) and carbureted front bonnet. This is the last series V8 Vantage with X-Pack late style flares and 16” Ronal wheels. It first owner was P.G. Livanos who also owned Aston Martin Lagonda Limited (the company) at the time. Thus, it was serviced by Aston Martin Lagonda North America when new and in Mr. Livanos’ ownership.
Subsequently sold on, future owners were all Aston collector enthusiasts and AMOC members. During these various ownerships, the V8 Vantage remained in the northeastern United States and was serviced by marque specialists Steel Wings and Autosport Designs, Inc. It has received a stainless steel Vantage large bore exhaust, new clutch, European bumper conversion and has always received routine-scheduled full service maintenance. In 2008, this V8 Vantage was featured on the cover of the official Aston Martin AMOC USA Quarterly magazine.
In 2007, the Vantage was sold to a good client of Autosport Designs in Texas. December 2009, two years later, the Vantage was returned to Autosport Designs, Inc. having been traded towards another automobile from our inventory. It was immediately serviced and offered for resale. February 2009, the V8 Vantage was purchased by a well-known collector and has remained in this collection for the past 10 years.
This V8 Vantage is well-known within the Aston Martin community. According to the Aston Martin factory build records, only 30 Vantage X-pack models have been built in left hand drive configuration with the manual transmission. Of the “Cosmetic” X-Packs, this is the only one is fitted with factory supplied manual transmission, the V585 fuel injected engine as well as its factory sunroof.
This very special V8 Vantage X-Pack is supplied with original tools, jack, document pouch, car cover, service book, spare keys, full service history, original build sheet and documentation showing it to be the last V8 Vantage Coupe imported to the US market.
