For Sale: 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle in Seekonk, Massachusetts

Vehicle Description

This cool 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle is a documented two owner matching numbers car that is a great cruiser.  The second owner cherished this car and enjoyed it for over 20 years.  It currently has 94,521 original miles.  As the VIN number indicates this car was born a 8 cylinder 2-door sports coupe that was built in Framingham, MA.  As the original bill of sale, title and warranty protector plate document this car was purchased at Valenti Auto Sales located in Cheshire, CT by Stella Anna Piekarski on October 4, 1966.  These original documents are included.  The car was ordered Granada Gold with a medium gold interior.  It was ordered with the following options: powerglide, P.B. radio, tinted w/ shield, wheel covers, deluxe seat belts, manual rear antenna, 14” white wall tires, center console, power steering, strato bucket seats and floor mats.   This car was purchased from the original owner as an original car.  After he took ownership he decided to lightly restore the car.  The restoration would include the exterior body, engine, exhaust system and transmission.  He took the car to a local well respected body shop and had them take the car down to bare metal.  During that process the original sheet metal only needed minor repair work to the front two floor pans, lower portion of front fenders, lower portion of rear quarters and trunk pan.  The car was repainted in its original color of Granada Gold. The paint job was done very nicely and it shows very well.  The exterior has recently been detailed and shines beautifully.  All of the glass with the exception of the front windshield is original and in very good condition. All of the exterior appointments such as the window trim, wiper arms, door handles, bumpers, emblems are original and in very good condition.  The car now sits on brand new American Racing VN511 Salt Flat 17” black and polished wheels.  The wheels are wrapped with brand new Goodyear Eagle Sport 225-50-17 tires.  These wheels look awesome on this car.  Also included with the car are a set of correct style Rally 14” wheels with BF Goodrich Radial TA 225-60-14 tires.  These were the wheels and tires on the car until recently.  The factory original medium gold interior is truly amazing considering its over 50 years old.  It’s not perfect but it’s in very good condition overall.  Some of the custom upgrades to the interior include a Budnik Ice 15.5” black steering wheel, Auto Meter Sport Comp gauge pod, JVC radio, Pioneer speakers and black carpeted Chevelle floor mats.  The original steering wheel is included.  The trunk compartment is original in appearance with a trunk mat and spare tire.  The engine compartment was recently lightly restored and is nicely detailed.  The heart of this car is the original matching numbers 283 V8 engine that runs and sounds excellent.  The engine was rebuilt during the restoration by Golens Engine Services.  Many performance parts were used doing the rebuild.  The engine dyno tested at 295 horsepower @ 5,500 RPM and 324 pound feet of torque @ 4,000 RPM.  A list of the engine build details and receipts are included.  The engine was recently cosmetically restored and serviced.  The battery and starter were replaced new.  It’s equipped with an Edelbrock 600CFM carburetor, MSD ignition coil, MSD pro Billet distributor and chrome alternator.  Some new custom pieces include Chevrolet black valve covers, Chevrolet black air cleaner, Taylor wires, aluminum black wire loom holder and AN fittings.  The original valve covers, intake and some other miscellaneous parts are included. The engine is cooled by a new Summit Racing aluminum radiator with polished overfill canister.  The engine breathes through Hooker headers and a Flow Master dual exhaust system.  The engine is coupled to the original powerglide automatic transmission that was rebuilt and shifts smoothly.  It’s equipped with a chrome power steering pump that makes steering a breeze.  The undercarriage was recently lightly restored and looks very nice.  The suspension and braking system has been replaced.  This car has great history and has been proven very reliable over the last 20 years with the second owner.  He drove this car a few thousand miles a year to mostly car shows and won many awards.  This Chevelle is a great cruiser that the new third owner will enjoy for the years to come.  This vehicle has recently been serviced and detailed which is documented with an invoice that is included.
