Up fro sale is a matching number 1968 Firebird 400 convertible. This car was restored about 25 years ago and while showing some age it still looks nice and drives great. The car had a color change from turquoise with a white interior and top to what you see now, A red car with black interior and top. The body and paint are driver quality and have a few bubbles here and there but still looks great at a cruise night or just driving down the road. The interior is clean and the power top was replaced last year and functions as it should. It has its original AM radio but it does not work and the blower motor also does not work. It was and is used as a nice weather cruiser so the blower motor not working was never an issue. The gauges, Lights and wipers all work properly. This Firebird has factory Disc brakes and power steering so it is easy to drive. The suspension is tight and the car rides and drives down the road really well for an old F-body. The wheels are Rally II's with BFG TA radials that look real good. The floors, Frames and trunk are all in good condition. The engine is the original YT code 330hp 400-4 barrel. The engine was rebuilt a few years back and is pretty much stock with exhaust manifolds and a nice sounding but mellow exhaust. The intake, Distributor and carburetor are not original. It has an aluminum intake with an Edelbrock carb and a GM HEI distributor. A couple of pumps of the throttle and it starts right up and is nice and smooth. This car is a factory turbo 400 car with a 3,08 rear. The transmission shifts as it should and the rear is nice and quiet. You can do 70MPH down the road without much effort. This car does have PHS docs to prove what it is and it also has most of its original broadcast sheet with it.
