1966 CHEVELLE SS396 - REAL "138" SUPERSPORT
Fresh out of the paint shop is this very nice and very real {138
VIN} 1966 Chevelle SS396. Not only is this a real Super Sport
Chevelle it is a real ''Red on Red'' car from the factory. CHECK IT
OUT !!
The body, floors, trunk and frame are all very straight, solid and
clean and the brand new ''Regal" red paint is slick and smooth cut
and buffed to a deep luster and show car shine! It also had most of
it's chrome, trim and weather stripping replaced during it's
restoration. The red bucket seat interior is also in like new
condition including the seats, door panels, carpet,headliner and
dash. It has it's factory original console and knee knocker tach.
Power comes from a strong running and sounding 396 c.i. big block
that is dated correct for this car but is NOT numbers matching. It
is backed by a Muncie 4 speed transmission and a 12 bolt rear with
3:73 gears. We were told by the previous owner that all was rebuilt
at some point but all I know for sure is that it runs, shifts and
drives really nice.
