To achieve its legendary performance, the 1970 LT1 used some of the
best internal engine parts GM ever made. A solid lifter motor
featuring; forged steel crankshaft, 4-bolt main block, 11:1
compression, impact-extruded pistons, high-lift camshaft, low
restriction ram-horn exhaust manifolds, aluminum intake manifold,
4-barrel Holley 800 CFM carburetor and finned aluminum valve
covers.
Aside from its performance characteristics, a 'real-deal'
documented 1970 LT1 is an investment-grade Corvette due to its rich
history and rarity. Only 1,287 of these were made in 1970.
