Vehicle Description
This 1979 Ford F250 is exceptionally clean and a rare SuperCab. It
has the Ranger Trim Package and it is also a Lariat and Camper
Special. This is a very cool and special truck and it is highly
optioned. It is an AC truck, but the AC is not hooked up (we do
have the original compressor and brackets). It has Tilt and Dual
Tanks. This is a very solid and straight truck that came out of
Kansas. It was restored around 4 years ago and still looks
excellent as it was driven sparingly and always stored indoors. The
body on this F250 is really nice and really straight. It is a very
very clean truck. When it was restored it was repainted in its
original colors of Dark Nectarine Metallic and Light Chamois. The
paint is very very nice. The underside is very original and really
clean. The interior was also restored and it too, looks excellent.
Everything looks to be new except for the door panels and dash
which are still in great condition. The seat, carpet, dash bezel,
headliner all look new.
Mechanically the truck is well sorted and wonderful. It has a low
mileage 460 V8 that was installed when restored and it runs
excellent. The engine has an Aluminum Intake, Edelbrock Carb, Dual
exhaust (sounds sweet), new radiator, new Power Steering Pump, and
more when restored. The C6 Automatic Transmission shifts perfect
and the NP205 Transfer Case works great. It has a DANA 60 Rear Axle
and a DANA 44 Front Axle and they both have 4.10 Gears. When they
restored the truck they added a 4 Inch Lift with New Shocks and
they also added Stainless Brake Lines. To set everything they added
some nice Aluminum Rims with 315/75/R16 General Grabber Tires.
Everything on this truck was working when we checked it except for
the aforementioned AC. This truck was a pleasure to drive and
whoever gets this will be very pleased. We hand pick each vehicle,
drive it, inspect it, and make sure it is ready for you to enjoy!
