Vehicle Description
This custom frame-off-restored Chevrolet Biscayne Resto-Mod is
powered by a 408ci V8 iron-block engine mated to a Magnum 6-speed
manual transmission with American Powertrain clutch and
scattershield hydraulic system. Engine cooling is provided by a
C&R cooling system with dual fans and waterless Evans coolant.
This Resto-Mod is equipped with a narrowed 9" Ford rear-end housing
with aluminum center section and tubular control arms in the front
and rear. The front suspension has 2"drop Bell Tech spindles, CPP
power steering gear, hydro-boost power 4-wheel disc brakes -
Corvette in the front and Wilwood in the rear - and a custom
driveshaft. This Biscayne features dual-quad throttle bodies with
FAST fuel-injection LS7 injectors hidden under the intake manifold,
EZ-LS ignition and an Aeromotive fuel pump system installed in the
Tanks, Inc., fuel tank. The car has a complete Painless wiring
system, Ididit steering column, custom AutoSound radio and
AutoMeter tachometer, speedometer, oil pressure, fuel, volt, temp
and clock gauges. It rides on 17" Cragar SS wheels with Mickey
Thompson Street Comp tires and has Vintage Air.
