1938 CADILLAC SERIES 75
CONVERTIBLE
This second generation Series 75 is one of Harley Earl's
masterpieces. This grand expression of elegance sporting a
Fleetwood convertible body with an awesome 141 inch wheelbase and a
total length of 220.6 inches is meant to make a powerful first
impression as her 346 cid Monobloc V-8 moves you effortlessly.
Of the 1911 Series 75's manufactured in 1938, 44 were convertibles.
The 2 door convertible coupe were offering for auction is one of
only six to survive. She was once part of part of the Nerthercutt
collection. She has been awarded 100 points at a CCCA Grand Classic
held in Detroit.
The Cadillac's restoration was performed by Clayton Restorations of
Denver, Colorado to the highest standards. Her interior is red. The
exterior is period correct Pelham Gray. The convertible top is
black made of Haartz material.
