If you have ever desired to own a 3rd generation Corvette, and whether you're a seasoned Corvette enthusiast, or have a new interest to enjoy these iconic classic American sports cars, this 1971 Corvette Convertible will be hard to beat.
This particular car is not only in truly excellent condition, but has managed to keep all of it's original drive train components...Amazing!
The Mille Meglin Red paint looks original, although I cannot confirm this, it's in remarkable condition, and appears to have been on the car a long time.
The numbers matching original engine starts right up, and runs excellently, and as you can see from the photo, the odometer indicates 68,788 miles. And though I have no documentation to support the mileage, from the condition of this Corvette, from the interior, the body, the undercarriage, and the excellent operating drive-train, I can certainly believe it could be original.
All for the gauges except for the clock work, all of the lights work, all of the accessories work, It drives like the day it was new! Add to this, the complete drive-train is numbers matching, what you have here is a rolling investment that you can enjoy for years to come.
The vibrant red interior is completely unmodified aside from the “Corvette” stereo. All of the glass is nice, and the windows roll up and down easily.
The tilt-telescoping steering column coupled with power steering makes this Corvette easier and more comfortable to drive than most Corvettes from this era.
The bottom line is: If you care considering adding a classic car to your life, and you're wanting something that looks great, performs great, everything works, is comfortable to drive anywhere, and on top of that, must be a good sound investment...I thinks you've found it!
