2014 Ford Mustang Roush Stage 3
We just got this incredibly low mileage two owner Roush Stage 3 in
and it is gorgeous. If you aren't familiar Jack Roush and his Stage
cars below is blurb on what to expect. This one has a-little over
4K miles and is immaculate. Take a look at the pics and the video
and make sure your speakers are on when this one starts up...but
not too loud It's hard to do anything but love the basic goodness
of the Ford Mustang. Its brutally simple reci�pe ensures not only
lots of old-fashioned fun behind the wheel, but also an enormous
aftermarket that can, for a price, one-up the factory's effort with
greater style and performance.
Roush Performance in Plymouth Township, Michigan, founded by racing
icon Jack Roush, here is the most extreme turnkey pony car Roush
offered through select Ford dealers, complete. It includes the
cosmetic and suspension mods of Roush's lesser Stage 1 ($4500) and
Stage 2 ($7950) kits, along with more power under the hood. The
centerpiece of ?the $17,000 Stage 3 upgrade is an Eaton TVS
supercharger that huffs eight psi of ?boost into the otherwise
stock 5.0-liter V-8. The company says that's enough to increase
horsepower from 420 to a tire-shredding 575, with the bulk of the
gain found near the engine's 6750-rpm redline, with torque rising
from 390 pound-feet to 505
So what else do you get with the Stage 3? For starters, you get 67
badges, stickers, and ornaments with the word "Roush" or the
company's signature "R" on them. You also get aggressive body
extensions, a Boss 302-style X-brace where the rear seats used to
be ($1975), and a barrel-chested exhaust system ($525) that rattles
eardrums like machine-gun fire in a drainage pipe. Roush does not
do stealth.
Also included in our car are the additional $3415 in special
upholstery and Roush-themed interior upgrades, Overall comfort from
the chairs is good and made better by a well-controlled ride, light
clutch effort, and a slick manual shifter. FEATURES Powered is
derived from the original 4.6 Modular V8 with an Eaton Super
Charger w/inner cooler that really pumps up the power
All those ponies are reined in by a stout 6 speed tranny with the
Roush Short Throw Shifter
Roush's massive 20 inch forged-aluminum, chrome-plated five-spoke
wheels.
Tires are Cooper RS3-S 275/35ZR20 with plenty of tread left
Brembo four-piston brake calipers that big 14-inch-diameter
rotors
Roush further ponies up with its seven-piece Aerobody Kit, lower
valence foglights, racing stripes, and Roush emblems
The correct and original Black Clear Coat paint is fabulous
Inside you will find a leather interior in Ebony with Red stitching
and Stage 3 highlights embossed in great shape
There is an Factory stereo in the dash with CD player the utilizes
the original Shaker speaker locations
The interior features embroidered sport leather seats, a special
white-face gauge cluster
Optional Billet aluminum Roush pedals, Roush floor mats,
illuminated door sill plates
