54,000 mile survivor loaded with options and eye appeal! A factory
big block, 4-speed and air conditioning in a convertible is ultra
rare. Not to mention the power steering, brakes, top, windows and
seat. Or how about wire hubcaps with spinners, stainless skirts,
dual antenna, dual spotlights, fog lights, bucket seats and console
and more. If that isn't enough how about a factory black car with
white top and white wall tires. If you want more then that, I'm
sorry I cant help you.
EXTERIOR: Factory Raven black code A. Body appears to be really
solid. Look down either side, both are laser straight. It has had
only a 1 time exterior repaint and that was over 25 years ago. The
jambs are still nice original black paint. The paint is glossy and
looks sexy. Is it perfect? No. The top is bright white, in great
shape. Overall the moldings and chrome are bright and straight.
Anodized taillights, tailpanel are real nice. The stainless skirts
are polished like a mirror.
INTERIOR: Mostly original interior in very good shape. We replaced
the carpet and repaired driver seat. Cushions are still firm. Has
bucket seats with full console. The 4-speed still has original
reverse lock out shifter. The top and windows are easy to put down,
they are power! Rare power seat too. It has emergency brake
flasher, padded dash and something I never knew existed back then-
a Mirror-matic. The rear view mirror dims using built in vacuum
tube, very cool. I honestly dont know if it works but still very
cool.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Very complete and original. We did clean it and
neatly freshened some of the paint. The 390 big block runs
great.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Has original plaid mat, side filler panels, jack
and spare. Has radial white wall tire.
UNDERSIDE: The car is on the lift, I'm underneath it as I write
this. It looks solid and original. I can't find any patches. It
appears to be original and in proper order, nothing is hokey. The
power steering ram looks more recent, new mufflers, fuel tank and
sending unit.
This car is from a 30 car collection, he owned it over 25 years!
