Similar in appearance to its TA14 predecessor, the 3.0-litre Alvis
TA21 was announced in 1950. Styled along classical, pre-war lines,
the TA21 was summed up by Autocar magazine as appealing to
'discerning owners who appreciate quality and good handling as well
as mere performance'. It is understood that drophead coupe versions
of the TA21 accounted for around 300 of the 1,319 built.
According to the Alvis Heritage Database, this TA21 Drophead was
dispatched to its first owner on 7 January 1952. While its early
history is not known in detail, it is believed that this TA21
Drophead had just three owners between 1968 and 1993. At some point
in its life, the original engine was replaced with one from a later
TC21/100 model. In excellent mechanical and cosmetic order, this
TA21 Drophead is an appealing slice of English motoring
history.

Drophead foi enviado para o seu primeiro propriet�rio a 7 de
janeiro de 1952. Apesar da sua hist�ria inicial n�o ser conhecida,
acredita-se que este exemplar teve apenas tr�s donos entre 1968 e
1993. A dado momento da sua vida o motor original foi substitu�do
por outro, pertencente ao mais recente TC21/100. Em condi��o
