Completed in December 1950 in Suede Green over a matching interior,
this Jaguar XK 120 Roadster was built to RHD specifications for its
home market and sold to its first owner via the Midland Autocar
company in 1951. Mentioned in a 1977 letter to the XK Bulletin, the
then owner, Chris Bowles of New Maldon, Surrey, had changed the
exterior colour to its present colours, Old English White over a
red interior.
At some point it was converted from right-hand drive to left-hand
drive, with the addition of a new engine cylinder head, likely a
C-Type specification from a later model. Already a car which cannot
be described as lacking in performance, the C-Type head makes this
XK 120 Roadster even more usable and enjoyable, and this would be
an ideal example for vintage events or just to drive and enjoy.

estava destinado ao mercado brit�nico. Foi vendido ao primeiro dono
pela Midland Autocar company, em 1951. Em 1977, foi referido numa
carta dirigida ao "XK Bulletin". O seu propriet�rio era Chris
Bowles, de New Maldon, no Surrey, que o mandou pintar em branco Old
English White, com interior vermelho.
A dada altura da sua hist�ria foi convertido para condu��o �
esquerda, recebendo tamb�m uma nova cabe�a de motor com
especifica��o C-Type, provavelmente de um modelo mais recente.
Sendo um autom�vel r�pido, mesmo com as especifica��es normais,
este XK 120 Roadster, com a cabe�a C-Type tornou-se o autom�vel
ideal tanto para eventos de cl�ssicos desportivos como apenas para
conduzir e desfrutar.

however the cylinder head is not original to the car, nor is it a
C-Type head.
