This 1972 Saab 96 was acquired by the seller in 1984 and
subsequently refurbished in dark green over a tan and brown vinyl
interior with period modifications. Power comes from a 1,698cc V4
featuring a Weber downdraft carburetor and paired with a four-speed
manual transmission which retains a freewheel hub. Service in 2019
included replacement of the fuel pump and battery, rebuilds of the
clutch slave cylinder and ventilation fan,and more. This 96
reportedlywon the People's Choice award at the 1996 and 2017 Saab
Owners Conventions, and is now offered with factory literature
signed by Bob Sinclair and Erik Carlsson, spare parts, tools,
service logs, and a clean California title in the seller's name.
