Vehicle Description
2006 Chevrolet Silverado SS
From 1975 to 1999, the term "Silverado" was used to designate the
trim for Suburbans, Chevrolet C/K pickup trucks, and Tahoes. During
that time, GMC used a few variations of the "Sierra" name (such as
High Sierra for example). Today, Chevrolet still uses the CK and CC
designations in their most current model codes. For their entire
history, GMC Sierra and the Chevrolet Silverado trucks share the
same mechanical build, though there have been slight differences
here and there. For example, there have been add-on and trim
variations that are unique to each truck.
For consignment...some former and first owner provenance in the
form of a professional baseball pitcher, Vance Worley. Also do not
be fooled this is a truck in body styling only. It has major
modifications on the power front, and dynos out at over 707hp.
Serious power, immaculate condition truck.
Exterior
Menacing black about sums it up. Everything is draped in black
excepting for the headlights, taillights, and tail pipe. Black
tinted windows, a black solid tonneau bed cover, loads of black on
an original design 06 Silverado. This is a totally custom paint
job.
Interior
Opening the 4 doors (2 full and 2 half doors) we see plenty of
controls for power options on the door. Power windows, power
mirrors, power locks, heated seats for the back and the front
seats. More buttons in the steering wheel for phone hookup, radio
controlling, info screen navigation, and a full air bagged
interior. Pioneer Navigation, AV receiver and a backup camera can
be controlled from the sides of the large center screen. Above is a
power sunroof, and in front of the driver is the clean instrument
cluster with white faced gauges in a black background. The A pillar
also has 3 additional gauges well within the driver's perspective.
Gray carpet floods the floors and is in overall good condition. A
leather rear bench is put into the rear of the cabin and will seat
3 adults comfortably. A fully carpeted bed done in beautiful
all-weather material is also in gray. TSW Wheels wrapped in Toyo
Proxes ST 2 tires are all around.
Drivetrain
Here's the money shot, which includes a 408ci V8 with a Pro Charger
Supercharger, A Stage 2 kit, upgraded fuel injectors, upgraded
intercooler, a 90mm throttle body and a 485 LPH fuel pump. Also
need to mention a Camaro cam package with total custom specs. A
Brian Tooley racing valve springs kit has also been added. A 4L60E
automatic transmission was rebuilt to handle the additional power
flowing out of the massive mill. All this power goes to a GM
14-bolt rear.
Undercarriage
Power disc brakes are all around, and the undercarriage is clean,
clean, clean. A Kooks 1-7/8" long tube header system has been put
on, and these flow into a Corsa Cat Back Exhaust
If you are looking for the ultimate truck, that has more power than
you need and then some to spare, a beautiful custom paint job, and
upgraded bed liner, all in menacing black then look no further,
it's here...now it's over there, now it's down the road a mile, now
its back...superfast to say the least!
