Vehicle Description
North Carolina original with 61K miles. Rare combination of
327-275HP V-8, 4-Speed, power steering, cold factory air
conditioning, walnut steering wheel on tilt column, radio, original
black vinyl top, bumper guards, and red-line tires. Except for a
gorgeous repaint in the original color of Sierra Fawn, car is
original. The floors and body panels appear to be factory-original
unmolested. Original Fawn interior and dash. All original rubber
moldings and seals, as well as very nice original chrome. OEM-style
redline tires on steel rims with correct "dog dish" hubcaps. Comes
with extensive original paperwork and Protect-O-Plate from Parkland
Chevrolet in Asheville, NC. Car remained with the original family
for years, and was sold it to a Chevy collector who had it
professionally refinished in the early 2000's. Because of the
options and condition of this Carolina original, it is definitely
in the "you just can't find one" category. And the ashtrays have
never been used! SELLING TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER AT NO RESERVE!! Tom
Mack sez, 1967 was a great year for General Motors. They started
the "Mark of Excellence" program company-wide and the quality of
'67 GM cars is much higher than the previous years. I remember as a
15-year-old teenager while working at our local Chevy dealer as a
gopher, one of my classmates' father brought her in and bought her
a new yellow '67 Malibu. Her car was yellow, but I was green with
envy. Although big block Super Sports are the big deal, I was
always drawn to the small blocks. I was tickled to find this
optioned small block 4-Speed local car in basically unrestored
condition except for the quality refinish in about 2000-2001.
