Vehicle Description
When your 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle Super Sport tribute has a bold
presence, the right features, and a big block heart, you know
you're looking at something quite special. So enjoy all the
details, but don't take too long, or this 454 cubic-inch muscle
machine will be gone.
The paint is a great upgrade on this coupe. The burgundy has the
boldness red while also giving off a more sophisticated tone. And
when the sunlight hits it, you really get to see the value in a
modern clearcoat and plenty of metallic. Crisp white racing stripes
are painted on top to make this tribute an easily recognized Super
Sport contender. Plus, there are nice details like the blacked out
rear panel, SS badging, and blacked-out grille with correct
extensions. And like a true classic American, there's plenty of
brightwork: from the polished wheels to the form-fitting chrome
bumpers.
Black interiors always look great in a muscle car, and it only gets
better with bucket seats and a center console in-between. There's
plenty of room for you to take up for four family and friends along
with you, but this Chevelle is fun when you're also going solo. A
three-spoke sports steering wheel and horseshoe shifter make this a
driver's machine. And there's always something cool about rolling
down all the windows and showing off the pillarless hardtop
profile.
While the SS badging on the outside says 396, that's a bit of a
fib. Because under the hood is a larger 454 cubic-inch big block.
The looks nice with its Chevy orange block, bright valve covers,
and flame-kissed air topper radiating a powerful message from
within the dark engine bay. Plus, nice belts, wires, and hoses show
it gets the fundamentals right, too. The V8 inhales deeply through
a four-barrel carburetor, and it exhales with authority as headers
feed a rumbling H-pipe dual exhaust. This has all the right
features to be a good driver, like the stout TH400 three-speed
automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes with discs
up front. Plus, there are nice upgrades like a newer front sway bar
and reinforced boxed trailing arms in the rear.
So is this a distinctive classic, or a tire-burning muscle car? The
answer to both is: yes. That's why this Chevelle is the perfect
coupe for everything you want in an American classic. Don't miss
this opportunity, call today!
