Solid truck. I put a crate 390 (Jasper), new intake and carb (Edelbrock), and an MSD ignition in it. It runs like a champ and does everything I ask it to do (mostly go to the dump and get wood). I have only put 4,000 miles on it during the 12 years I have owned it. Unfortunately, it sat outside for 10 of those years. Even worse the lawn sprinkler would hit the driver's side during the summer months. I have it inside now, but the damage is done. There are a couple of rust through holes that will need to be fixed, but all of expensive trim pieces are there. It has manual steering, 4 wheel drive, big tires and drum brakes so the wife probably won't be driving it. I do have one of the few power steering units from a 1978 Bronco that bolt right in (they are getting really hard to find). With that unit there are kits you can get to upgrade to power steering pretty easily. I don't mind the manual, so I never got around to having it put in (you can have the power steering unit if you want it). I just put $1600 into the rear brakes and hubs (it was leaking brake fluid at the tire) so stopping should be good for the next decade.
I am selling it because I also have a 1969 Ford Galaxie 500 convertible in the garage. Now I'm getting a boat so one of them has to go and she likes the Galaxie way more than the truck. It is a really nice truck and I get comments on it every time I take it out. This will go quick...
