Vehicle Description
1940 Chevrolet Master Deluxe - 327ci V8 w/4Speed Manual
Transmission - Holley 4 BBL Carb - Custom Interior - Centerline
Wheels - (Please note: If you happen to be viewing this vehicle on

built by an enthusiast in 2001, with the idea that he would like a
classic car that was comfortable to enjoy. This custom was built
with some nice parts to make being on the road a little better
compared to a stock '40 Chevy. A/C, supportive, plush seats, and a
capable 327ci V8 make this car perfect for long drives, or short
local cruises and shows. The classic shape of the '40 Master Deluxe
Coupe has been maintained since only a few custom touches on this
two tone custom. Vertical slat tail lights molded into the rear
fenders, bumpers with deleted bumperettes, modern mirrors, and
smoothed running boards are a few of the obvious changes made to
the exterior. This sleek, forward raked coupe now sits on 15
Centerline 2 piece billet wheels which brighten up the exterior.
Like the exterior, the interior features a number of custom touches
including a group of aftermarket gauges, Hurst shifter, Vintage Air
A/C system, tilt steering column with late model Chevy steering
wheel, front bucket seats, and deleted rear seat. Cruising down the
road peering through the split windshield, past the pointed hood
and teardrop shaped headlamps is a great feeling. Under the hood is
a 327ci V8 mated to a 4-speed manual. A Holley 4 barrel carburetor
and Edelbrock intake manifold help the V8 breathe a little easier.
This is a nicely finished, custom with a classic shape, comfortable
interior, and a strong powerplant. It's ready for new caretakers to
enjoy and pamper this custom like the previous owner. Be sure to
