sale. 2002 was the 35th anniversary of the Chevrolet Camaro and for
this year Chevrolet released a special edition Camaro SS to
celebrate. The SS trim was given a 5.7L V8 which was paired with a
6-speed manual transmission. The example offered here was given a
fair amount of upgrades to increase performance. These upgrades
include LS2 polished ported heads, upgraded headers, and a
performance clutch. All of these work together to make for a
powerful beast that is sure to leave a smile on your face.
The exterior of this car is finished in a striking Bright Rally Red
and features many decals to commemorate the 35th anniversary of the
Camaro. 17-inch wheels complement the exterior nicely and are
wrapped in Goodyear tires. Paired with the red paint is a black
power-operated soft top that is in flawless working condition.
Transitioning to the interior, the black leather with grey leather
seat inserts was an interior package offered for the 35th
anniversary SS. Seats show minimal wear and the rest of the
interior is near showroom quality. Many convince features were
given to the Camaro to make it a pleasure to drive. Some of these
features include power locks, power windows, power seats, air
conditioning, and a Monsoon radio system. Cruise control is
controlled from a stalk mounted on the steering column and the
radio settings can be changed from the steering wheel buttons.
Fortunately, this car drives as good as it looks. It has been made
stiffer and more solid in the corners due to a fender to frame
connector. Shifting the gears has been made quick and easy by the
addition of a short-throw shifter. The selling owner notes that
