Porsche 944 Turbo S Silver Rose edition for your consideration.
Power comes from a turbocharged 2.5-liter inline-four that is
paired with a 5-speed manual transaxle and factory limited-slip
differential. The 2.5-liter M44 inline-four features a K26-8
turbocharger and was factory-rated at 247 horsepower and 258 lb-ft
of torque when new. The timing belt was replaced and all other
service is up to date. Car and Driver said that the engine in the
944 Turbo S is, "by far the most potent 4-cylinder in the
world."
The exterior wears a Silver Rose Metallic finish and features the
standard "Turbo" decal along the front right fender. All Silver
Rose models were equipped with Club Sport 16" alloy wheels and the
M030 suspension package, which included Koni "yellow" height
adjustable shocks, larger sway bars, and Brembo brakes with
4-piston calipers and ABS. The Koni "yellow" shocks were configured
in a similar set up to Porsche's cup cars, though in the production
of the 944 Turbo S comfort was also a consideration along with
performance and feel. This car has received a professional detail
both on the exterior and interior and shows extremely well.
The cabin is finished in Burgundy Leatherette with multicolor plaid
cloth inserts on the seats and door panels. Instrumentation
includes a 180-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6,400-rpm
redline, and a 6-digit odometer that shows just under 31,000 miles.
Amenities include power-adjustable seats, a rear window wiper,
headlight washers, automatic speed control, and a removable sunroof
with electric tilt. A Blaupunkt Reno cassette stereo is retained in
the center stack.
These 944 Turbo S Silver Rose editions are extremely rare with only
718 being delivered to America. All Silver Rose edition 944s were
produced to the same specifications and are becoming increasingly
hard to find. This 944 Turbo S now shows just under 31k miles and
is offered with all service receipts, original documents, a Porsche
