Vehicle Description
1969 Buick Skylark GS400. 130K miles from new. Very nice and clean
runs and drives great. No smoke. Starts easy and runs smooth. Has
factory air, but it is an R12 system and the compressor is not
hooked up. Did not want to convert to 134 for a purist. The 400
engine was rated at 360HP and has lots of power. Has nice, but not
obnoxious exhaust sound. Many things original on car. Has been
repainted to original factory color. Believe this color is
turquoise mist. Nice paint job, but not enough blocking done, so
rear quarters and not 10's. No cancer rust anywhere. Paint and
upholstery were done by previous owner. Original protecto plate.
Original owners manual and many maintenance receipts. Car was sold
in Nampa, Idaho. Pacific NW is a good places to buy rust free
collector cars due to the climate. Original GS 400 'Cool Air'
functional hood scoop induction system and special air cleaner. Has
correct Quadrajet Buick 4bbl carb. Original wheels in super
condition. Interior is clean and very presentable. Appears to have
stock style replacement seat covers and door panels were replaced,
but not with original pattern. Has correct horseshoe console
shifter and it shifts excellent. Factory A/C control in good
condition. Have correct antenna mast in trunk, but not the flange.
400 performance engine with the TH 400 transmission. Original brake
booster replaced with new, but will include the original one.
Excellent stopping power. It is too nice a survivor and driver for
full restoration. Glass is good and chrome is good. Rear bumper had
a small dent removed, but not a full bumper restoration. Please
