This 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS is a factory German-market M472
Touring example originally built in April 1973 and optioned with
sport seats and electric windows. The original owner was a personal
friend of Alois Ruf, and in the 1980s he commissioned RUF
Automobiles to modify the car with a 2.8-liter flat-six,
lightweight bumpers, and revised suspension, at a reported total
cost of DM 80k. The car was later imported to the United States by
Bruce Harmon after passing through English dealer Geoffrey Finlay
in 2000. The seller acquired it in June 2003 in Vermont and has
since added approximately 15k miles. The 915 5-speed manual
transaxle, Bosch mechanical fuel injection pump, and individual
throttle bodies were rebuilt during the seller's ownership, and
John Esposito was commissioned in 2007 for rust repair in the doors
and a repaint of the entire car. One of 185 examples finished in
Grand Prix White with India Red graphics, this RS is now offered
with owner's manuals, Porsche CoA, a tool kit, some service history
records, and a clean California title in the seller's name. This
