Incredible 1954 Chevrolet Series 3100 1/2T 5-Window Pickup for sale. This stunning classic Chevy truck was a nut/bolt, frame-off restoration completed just over 200 miles ago in 2013-2014. Purchased in August of 2014 by its current owner at Mecum in Monterey and used sparingly for short cruises around the Napa Valley Wine County. It is beautiful, very professional and thoughtful restoration finished in the most desirable Transport Blue.
The beautifully dressed, rebuilt 235 CI Thriftmaster 112hp engine starts; runs as it did new having been rebuilt to modern specifications. The shifting, brakes, suspension all function as designed, all restored/rebuilt to ensure its reliability.
The paint is better than factory, smooth, glassy with a deep, beautiful shine and fantastic panel alignments. The body and cab were removed from the frame for paint and stripped to bare metal. The frame was blasted and refinished and everything was reassembled using new rubber and bushings. The chrome and trim look fantastic. The rebuilt pickup box is fitted with a varnished oak bed floor with polished stainless steel bed strips and finished with oak side fences. New chrome and stainless trim are featured throughout, along with running board step pads, deluxe hood ornament, traffic light viewer, bumper guards, dual outside mirrors and upgraded chromed wheels wrapped in Firestone wide Whitewall tires. The interior was completely restored and everything in the truck is working as it was designed to including heater, gauges, switches, lighting, etc.
