Cincy Classic Cars is very proud to offer this stunning 1974 Triumph TR6 which is beautiful overall condition and and priced to sell. This TR6 was restored over the years and looks great in British Racing Green over New Tan interior. TR6 has been nicely restored and features a beautiful paint job in BRG, a restored interior, new bumpers, and a great running drive line. This TR6 is finished in the beautiful and desirable color combinations of BRG exterior over New Tan interior. Several restoration receipts are included in the sale and described below.
Exterior
The Green exterior is in super nice restored condition. This TR6 was treated to a professional paint job some years ago and still shows well in base coat/clear coat BRG paint. This was a color change from the original color and this TR6 was taken apart properly to perform a thorough color change to BRG. The paint is in great condition and has a nice shine and great gloss and is smooth to the touch. Engine was removed and the engine bay has the same level of paint as the body does. The body is very solid and the lines and gaps are nice on this TR6. The underside is very solid with no signs of visible rust. Both bumpers were purchased this year and fitted on the car and look like new. The Michelin tires were purchased this year and are like brand new with less than 1000 miles on them and the OEM wheels are fully restored and powder coated with new center caps and lug nuts and come with new trim rings. The convertible top was replaced and is in good condition and works as it should. All weather stripping and seals are in good condition. Trunk is very solid and clean with spare tire and jack tools. Windshield has original Triple X glass and so do the doors.
Interior
The New Tan interior of this TR6 is in very nice restored condition. This TR6 was originally chestnut in color but was changed to New Tan some years ago and compliments the Green exterior beautifully. The seat covers are in great overall condition and are very comfortable with supportive foam. The carpet was replaced and is still in good overall condition with no major wear or holes. The door panels were replaced as well and are in good condition and both door pulls are solid and in tact. The dash is in great overall condition and the wood surround looks great as well. A upgraded stereo was added and sounds good in the car. The gauges all work and are clear and crisp. The wipers, horn, stereo, blower motor, and all lights work. This car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever.
Mechanical
This TR6 is in nice mechanical condition and it runs and drives well. This TR6 pulls well and runs and drives nicely. We have driven this TR6 several times and it always performs well, does not run hot, rides tight, and is a true joy to drive. This TR6 is an great driver that feels great on the road and at highway speeds. The brakes do not pull and stop as they should and new brakes hoses were added. The clutch operates well and shifting is smooth with no clunking. The exhaust was upgraded to a performance exhaust and sounds great at idle and cruising speeds. A new aluminum radiator was recently added and keeps this TR6 cool. All new heater and radiator hoses and clamps were also added. New rear hubs were installed this year as well. Also, the engine is clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos.
