This stunning 1954 Chevrolet Bel Air Custom is a great example of a restomod with the perfect mixture of old and new.  It has been fully restored to show quality standards and is loaded with options including Vintage Air Conditioning, LT1 fuel injected V8, 6-speed manual transmission, 12-bolt rear end and power four wheel disc brakes. The first generation Chevrolet Bel Airs were produced from 1950-1954.  These cars are known for their beautiful styling.  As the VIN number indicates this car was built as the 1954 Chevrolet Bel Air in Los Angeles, CA.  As the trim tag indicates the original exterior color was black and the original interior color was black and white.  From the information gathered this car spent its entire life in California until 2019.  It was purchased by a gentleman in California as a very original car.  He had a vision to create a masterpiece that would have the perfect mixture of old and new.  He decided to move forward and do a complete restoration.  Many receipts from the restoration are included.  He invested a ton of time and money into the build.  Being a California car it retains its original sheet metal.  The center line of the hood was smoothed for a clean look.  The body is very straight and it has great gap lines throughout.  To keep it real it was painted in its original color of black.  To add some old school flavor the roof and in-between the side moldings were painted blue metal flake.  This color combination looks stunning and attracts serious attention.  The paint on this car is deep and show quality.  All of the glass was replaced with brand new lightly tinted glass.  This included a new front windshield, two vent windows, four side side windows and rear window.  Everything on the exterior was restored or replaced to high quality standards including all window trim, door trim, side moldings, grill, headlight bezels, taillight bezels, bumpers, door handles and emblems.  The wipers were deleted for a clean appearance. The rear chrome plate frame is lighted.  The car has a great stance on new 18” Budnik “Remington L” polished wheels.  These are high quality and expensive wheels that are custom ordered.  The wheels are wrapped with BF Goodrich G-Force Sport tires that are 225-50-18 on the front and 245-45-18 on the rear.  The interior was completely restored and looks beautiful.  To keep it real it was finished in similar colors to the original colors.  The headliner, side piping, kick panels, door panels, front seat, rear seat and shift boot is bone white leather.  The interior was wrapped with insulation and covered with premium carpeting.  The dash was painted black to match the exterior and all new chrome trim was added including new dash hardware.  All of the interior trim was also restored or replaced to high quality standards.  The vent levers, window cranks and door handles are new.  It’s equipped with Dakota Digital gauges, black steering column, billet steering wheel with black wrap, billet pedals, aluminum shifter with black knob and Vintage Air Conditioning.  It also has a fully custom Autosound stereo system with Kicker speakers in the door panels and rear shelve.  The trunk compartment was finished to match the interior and looks equally as beautiful.  The engine compartment is nicely detailed throughout.  The engine bay was painted the body color to showcase everything.  The car is powered by an LT1 fuel-injected V8 crate engine.  This engine starts instantly and runs excellent.  Some of features include a Street Performance wiring harness, aluminum valve covers with matching breathers, custom black intake cover and custom air intake.  It has custom fitted lines and hoses placed in the firewall for the air conditioning and heating system.  The engine is cooled by an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans and aluminum overfill canister.  The engine breathes through factory style manifolds and a fully polished exhaust system with Magnaflow mufflers.  It has a great sounding exhaust system.  The engine is coupled to a 6-speed manual transmission.  It’s equipped with a Ram hydraulic clutch with aluminum reservoir.  This clutch is very smooth and easy to operate.  The power is transferred to the pavement through the rebuilt 12-bolt rear end with 3.73 gears.  It’s equipped with power rack and pinion steering which works very nicely.  The undercarriage is nicely detailed throughout with many upgrades.  Everything was restored or replaced including a new gas tank.  The power braking system consists of a Wilwood master cylinder, black power booster and four wheel discs with black calipers.  The front suspension has drop spindles and the rear has KYB shocks. This 1954 Chevrolet Bel Air is the ultimate cruiser and easy on the eyes.  This car has recently been serviced and detailed which is documented with an invoice that is included.
