1993 Cadillac Sedan DeVille
2 owner, 117,000 miles.
Original owner purchased new in Ivoryton CT from Town and Country Motors. They were known to family members for driving a car for just a few thousand miles/few years and then getting a new model. With this vehicle, their own children weren't interested in getting it so it went to their niece. She has owned it since the late 90's. She put the majority of the miles on the car. However, throughout it's life it has been well taken care of as evidenced by the interior and how well and smooth she runs.
This is a front drive Cadillac with the 4.9L GM V8 and automatic transmission.
The burgundy leather interior has only minor wear, but no tears or seam separation. The seats are still rather plush and comfy.. like driving your couch.
Of course, the car has power steering, power brakes, power mirrors and windows, power seats, A/C (will need a charge), Cruise control, Auto Climate control, complete computerized information center (hey, it was a big deal in the day!), Twilight Sentinel Lights, tilt wheel and driver side air bag.
An interesting aspect of this car is polycarbonate plastic fenders and lower side body molding. Both fenders have minor cracks from either age and/or extreme cold here in New England. One of the body cladding panels has a small crack as well. The floor and trunk pans and "frame" rails are all solid, with only minor rust on the leading edge of the driver lower pinch weld.
The paint has held up well in terms of shine and the red metallic still looks pretty good. There are some chips here and there and a couple of "peels" maybe the size of a quarter.
The tires are older but still have tread and hold air. The aluminum rims however, may need to be cleaned up a bit upon the installation of new tires as the small leaks have been identified as the wheels.
If you like Cadillacs, this would be a great daily driver while the classic from the 60's only comes out for the sunny days. It would be a great daily driver if you don't have ANY other cars. Solid, comfortable transportation.
Asking price for this mid 90's luxo-boat is only $1600.
