Canyon State Classics brings to market a very clean and
rare-colored Mars Red Mercedes Benz C55. AMG-spec C-Classes have
always been great drivers, but the mix was never quite right. The
original six-cylinder C36 (1995) was pricey and didn't pack enough
punch. The C43 (1998) got it right with V-8 power, but was stuck
with bland styling. The 2002 C32 AMG received a new bod, and its
blown 3.2-liter V-6 had all kinds of punch, yet lacked cachet. It
all comes together for 2005 in the C55 AMG, which combines an
updated, upgraded C-Class platform and interior with a burbling,
handbuilt, 362-horse V-8. It's a torquester, too, with a
376-pound-feet peak at 4000 rpm, nearly 300 of it on hand by just
2000 revs.
This two owner AMG was purchased new at Chapman Mercedes in Tucson
AZ on June 23, 2006. The selling dealer serviced the car diligently
and took it back in on trade in November of 2014 at 83k miles.The
car was sold again a month later and it continued to be enjoyed and
serviced in Tucson AZ. This car has always been serviced at Chapman
Mercedes and Autohaus Tucson as it was garage kept. Total
production of the US Spec C55 for 2006 was limited to only 451
units. Of those units, its believed that Mars Red is the rarest
color and that a low double-digit amount were ever put on the road.

beautiful Mars Red and is gorgeous and was just fully buffed and
hand waxed. You'll be hard pressed to fins another red example, let
alone one that's all original- even the bumpers have never been off
the car! The body on the car is laser straight, and does not have
even a single door ding. Paint is all in excellent shape and is
original other than a few expected paint chips which have been
touched up. This Benz has always been garage kept and pampered its
entire life and really shows. The car is equipped with the AMG
option group which includes a beautiful interior, AMG emblems,
exhaust tips, body kit, and specially designed staggered AMG alloy
wheels. The AMG cars also got the newer style "Avantgarde" color
matched grille. The car is riding on 18" AMG Split 5 Spoke alloy
wheels, specifically designed for the E55. They are wrapped in
almost new performance radials. All 4 wheels just had the lips
re-machined and are perfect with no damage. They were all spin
checked and have no bends or issues. The interior is in great shape
all around. The Black Nappa leather interior and trim is all very
nice and shows minimal wear. All seats, door panels, and carpets
are in very good condition.The interior is extremely comfortable
and well optioned. All accessories work inside the car including
the heated seats, power everything, CD Player, sound system, etc.
This C class is equipped with the premium package which included: 6
disc changer, blue glass w/ rain sensor, power rear sunshade and
rain sensing wipers. The car has never been smoked in and has a
fresh smell of fine and leather. Overall condition of the interior
is a 9.5 out of 10. The car has MB all-weather floor mats, complete
set of tools, jack,first aid kit and key. The car will also include
all of its original books, quick reference guides, carfax. It also
has a space saver spare and tire. Mechanically, this Benz is in
perfect condition and runs and drives great. It has very healthy
and very quick and powerful 5.4l V8. These AMG engines are hand
built by a single engine builder to ensure the highest quality. The
car has a very strong automatic transmission that shifts perfect.
The motor puts out 362hp and 376ft lbs of torque and is plenty to
move this nimble C Class around. This car is very clean under the
hood and really shows how its previous owner took excellent care of
it. The previous owner of this car was very meticulous about
maintenance. Most recently, that car was in at the dealer for an
inspection, oil change and fuel pump replacement (104k miles). The
engine has also been treated to dealer-installed Kleeman camshafts
that increase mid range HP and torque. This car is ready to go! The
car is in excellent condition inside and out. The exterior of this
AMG is stunning in Mars Red with Black interior and is definitely
the most desired color combination for the C55 Mercedes. This is a
