In addition to appearance changes, the 2nd generation of
Chevrolet's "Action Line" full-size pickups featured coil spring
suspension with rear trailing arms in place of the typical leaf
spring setup - improving ride quality. Up front, the
two-wheel-drive C10s were equipped with independent front
suspension. Several new comfort and convenience packages would also
be introduced. By 1971 AM/FM radios were fitted as standard from
the factory and disc brakes had replaced the drum brakes in the
front for increased stopping performance and reduced brake fade.
Unique to the 1971 model year was the distinctive "egg-crate"
grille. Five-lug pattern wheels were now present on all
two-wheel-drive variants. The drivetrain on this example consists
of a 350 CID small block Chevrolet V8 and TH350 automatic
transmission. Power steering is also present. The 5 digit odometer
