Vehicle Description
You love it when someone invests the right money to build a
powerful classic just like you would, and this incredible 1967
Chevrolet Chevy II Nova is a prime example. With an enhanced small
block, four-speed stick, gorgeous paint, cold A/C interior, and
plenty of other upgrades, it's obvious that no corners were cut in
its construction.
This Chevy was born Butternut Yellow, but what you see today is far
more vibrant. And this hardtop has earned this bold upgrade. It has
the gloss and shine that comes from investing in a very
professional application of the best modern paints. The super scoop
cowl hood, redline tires, and Super Sport badging are nice upgrades
that give this an extra attitude. Those are nice custom pieces, but
the rest of this fierce look comes from a careful restoration of
the original GM steel. After all, that crease in the sheetmetal
runs the full profile like an unbroken line. Plus, you get all the
correct vintage Nova details like the Rally wheels and bright
chrome bumpers front and rear. So it's a head-turner for being both
complete and custom.
This car came the right way from the factory with black vinyl
buckets, but you can instantly tell there have been some upgrades.
Few people take the time, effort, and investment to have the full
deluxe interior treatment. That means an intricate pattern on the
seats with the sporty full-length white stripe. This is repeated on
the door panel to give this Nova a very premium feeling. Plus, the
desirable chrome center console is another hallmark of the SS
package that shows you this had a careful upgrade. You'll love
correct pieces like the bright dash and extra-wide speedometer, but
this very cool Nova is far from stock. There are some subtle
upgrades that make this more comfortable like the retro-style
AM/FM/cassette stereo, and now there's cold-blowing air
conditioning. You slip behind a Flaming River woodgrain steering
wheel. The full auxiliary gauge package is cleanly installed. And
the large column-mounted Bosch tach and new Hurst competition
shifter are an ideal pairing.
Pop the hood for a terrific-looking motor. The dark and tidy walls
funnel your attention to all the polished pieces, like the valve
covers, air topper, alternator, compressor, and more. And the bold
orange Chevy V8 block looks like it's radiating power. This is a
283 cubic-inch unit that has some nice performance upgrades, like
an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, aluminum hi-rise intake, and
HEI distributor. The exhaust manifolds are new, and this is the
gateway to the sweet sound of performance out of the dual tips in
the rear. Best of all, you have complete control over this
lightweight and powerful package thanks to the Muncie four-speed
manual transmission. Plus, there are nice driving upgrades like
power brakes and BF Goodrich treads on those classic redlines.
The sale comes complete with owner's manual, build receipts,
service manuals, and maintenance records. It's a turn-key ready
classic that's ready to turn heads this weekend. So don't miss out.
