This Corvette has a tub full of documentation going back to the
1970s. Also included are shop manuals. It was originally a 327-350
hp with 4-speed and 3.70 posi. From Oklahoma, very nice car.
EXTERIOR: Standing next to the car it's beautiful. The body is
really straight, fits nice. It's an older paint job that still
shines really well. It will have a few flaws if you look for them.
The knock off wheels are reproductions that bolt on, safer then a
knock off. Tires are in excellent shape. The chrome and trim all
around the car isn't new but shines bright and is all straight.
Stand back and the bumpers are level. The removable hardtop is
painted to match. The convertible top is black and in like new
condition. Headlights open and close with no issues. Has the
correct power antenna.
INTERIOR: The dash pads are really nice. All the instruments look
restored, has quartz movement in the clock. The knobs sparkle,
radio is stock, console looks new. Has the original type reverse
lockout shifter, original seat belts are mint. Door panels,
upholstery and carpet are good. Has the very nice genuine teak wood
steering wheel. There's a hidden stereo under the glove box with a
remote control and CD changer in the back.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The 350 motor has a healthy rebuild. Has GM
aluminum intake, new fuel pump. The motor compartment is very neat
and orderly. Fan and shroud are proper, the wiring is nice,
ignition shielding. The Chevy orange paint on the motor looks new,
dressed up with nice looking valve covers the motor.
UNDERSIDE: Upfront it has new sway bar, shocks and springs. Bottom
of the motor is spotless, starter looks new. Has Muncie 4-speed
trans and a 3.70 posi. In back has an upgraded spring, new swaybar
and gas shocks. New chambered exhaust system sounds great. Clean
rust free frame. Clean undamaged raw fiberglass floors. Has spare
tire carrier assembly.
If you like documentation you can spend an entire night reading all
the receipts. All very orderly in a binder. Has owner history and a
reproduction window sticker. Great looking Vette.
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for
virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant
amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my
professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure
your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do
a walk around video that explains the car's condition in
detail.
