38,781 original miles. This Vette is a survivor. Same owner the
last 17 years. The owner before that had it 10 years. A file of
maintenance records going back 27 years is included.
EXTERIOR: Body is real clean and straight, no damage. The paint
still shows glossy and bright but does have minor flaws from age.
Some touch ups etc. 15x8 rally wheels have real nice shiny trim.
The Goodyear tires have hardly any wear. The original weather
strips are soft. Of course it has removable T-tops.
INTERIOR: Unabused original interior. The leather upholstery on the
seats and armrest are glove soft and perfectly worn in. Steering
wheel has no wear. The entire dash and console area are mint. The
heater controls, vents, lenses etc are nice. No cracks in the dash
pad. A Corvette retro stereo was installed right into the factory
hole, has upgraded speakers sitting in back.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Has the VIN # match 350 motor with a couple of
upgrades- Edelbrock intake and chrome valve covers. The originals
are also included. The motor compartment is very proper. The cowl
induction system with dual snorkel air cleaner looks complete. The
radiator, shroud, clutch fan and overflow bottle are proper. Air
conditioning system is all complete.
UNDERSIDE: It has the vin # match, heavy duty turbo 400 trans. The
rear end is # matched with 3.08 gear. Bottom of motor is clean.
There are disc brakes at all four wheels and independent suspension
front and back. Underneath is very original, complete and proper.
The flywheel cover, e-brake cables, spare tire carrier are all in
place.
Here is a great opportunity to get involved with the collector car
hobby and not spend a lot of money. Corvettes are crazy popular.
There are clubs, events, all sorts of restoration and upgrade parts
available. This is a quality survivor with great options!
