Vehicle Description

911 930 Turbo Slant MOVIE CAR FROM PAIN AND GAIN Authentic 1988 Porsche 930 Turbo 505 Slantnose Cabriolet. This 2 owner slant is in immaculate condition inside and out! With only 58k original miles! Till this day it is still one of the most highly sought after Porsche 930's ever produced. With its highly rare options including 505 Slantnose, 220 Locking Diff( limited Slip ), 513 Lumbar Support, 439 Electric Soft Top and more. The Grand Prix white paint shows like NEW with no real signs of wear, scratches, or dings. The Factory Turbo Fuchs with the color matched Grand Prix white and polished lips look amazing. This 930 has been slightly lowered to European ride height which gives it a very aggressive styling. Other than the height adjustment, this rare slantnose remains all original. The interior looks and smells like new without ever being reupholstered. Leather is soft and looks amazing throughout the entire car. Still retains its factory books, manuals, tool kit and car cover! Its 3. 3L Turbo engine pulls hard through all the 4 gears and still remains completely stock with no modifications! The transmission is tight. No play or worn synchros. The Clutch is in great condition with no slippage. One of the best examples available and still affordable considering its rarity. In preparation for the sale, the car went through a PPI and received over 12K in documented service. The repairs included shift rod bushing, shift coupler, oil pressure sending unit, turn signal switch, ignition wire set, sparkplugs, rear fuel pump, oil filter amp; oil change, and more.
Among the rarest of production Porsche 930s were the hand-built 505-option slantnoses, or Flachbau in German. The special build-order program Porsche body package was modeled after the legendary fire-breathing twin-turbocharged 935 full race monsters and brought considerable changes over a standard 930. The altered nose was just part of an overall group of aerodynamic upgrades designed to help the race-inspired Porsche slice through the air to achieve greater top speed. The slantnose option included flip-up headlights, fender louvers, extended rocker panels, and wider flares on the vented rear fenders. This 1988 911 slant-nose cabriolet is powered by a 3.3-liter turbocharged version of the air-cooled Porsche horizontally opposed 6-cylinder engine. The 4-speed manual transmission works with option-220 limited-slip differential for maximum traction and power delivery. Under the option-439 power-operated black convertible top or open to the big sky is the original black leather interior, which features option-513 lumbar support power-adjustable seats along with power locks and windows. Factory air conditioning and a Pioneer compact disc sound system upgrade add comfort and entertainment.
