Built in 1964 and advertised as a real family car, but over the years this classic became much more than just that…
The 1964 model year Classic was refined with stainless steel rocker moldings, a flush single-plane aluminum grille replacing the previous year's deep concave design, and oval tail-lamps replacing the flush mounted lenses of the 1963's.
This is one of the few Classics that was ordered with bucket seats, V8 engine, and automatic transmission.
Tie your surfboard on top to the chrome luggage rack of this medium sized Cross Country Wagon and cruise to the beach or put your tent and cooler in the back and take it to the woods, options galore!
With the strong 287 Cui V8, automatic 3 Spd transmission, and fully working original (!) A/C, this is a true steal!
The interior is in great shape, and other than a couple of bubbles on the hood, so is the body.
The windows were recently tinted and on top of that, we gave the Rambler some new tires to improve to its safety.
You will have to ‘work’ to drive this station wagon because it doesn’t come with power steering or disc brakes but this only adds to the classic car feeling!
The front end will be rebuild shortly as the bushing have had there best days and also included in the deal are the original steel wheels and the original hub caps.
The body is solid and in good shape but the hood needs a touch up due to a bad prep job a few years ago (see picture).
Interior is in good shape too considering it is all original and never touched. The carpet does have some discoloration and the dash pad has a crack in it due to the beating Florida Sun but these are just minor issues on an overall nice classic.
