Well, this Thunderbird is basically a brand new 2002 T-Bird Roadster, and it's brand new condition can be described as somewhere between “outstanding” and “unbelievable”. This is a 2-owner car, and the story goes: The original owner owned some 49 Thunderbird's in his personal museum, and wanted one of the latest generation T-Birds for his collection that he kept and maintained where he lived in Reno Nevada. He purchased the T-bird in Portland, Oregon and had it transported to his place in Reno. Throughout his ownership he managed to put just 10 miles on the car before he sold it in 2011 to it’s current enthusiast who has continued to compulsively maintain the T-bird from then until now, and has added just 818 miles to the car during his tenure, to give this Thunderbird a total of 828 miles on it’s odometer!
Everything on this Thunderbird Roadster is brand new save for the battery, and yearly oil/filter changes, and 5 year all other fluid changes.
The Red and Black two-tone interior is a fairly rare option, and looks striking with it's classic seating pattern, and eye-catching appointments.
Suffice it to say, this just might be the nicest, well optioned 2002 Thunderbird to exist. The body matched hard top has never been off of the car, and therefore, the still brand new soft top has never been used.
All of the original documentation, owners manuals, warranty books and pamphlets, sales brochures, Roof Panel Cover (unopened), convertible top boot, (unopened), Hard top carrier (unopened) are present and accompany this very special Thunderbird.
This T-Bird MSRP'd at $39,995 in 2002, and as I understand it, the original owner paid a 40% premium over that! WOW!
As beautiful as this car is, it's begging to be driven. As the selling dealer, I have to drive the cars I sell to be able to speak intelligently and truthfully about them, and I can assure you that this particular T-Bird is absolutely brand new in every aspect, and it drives perfectly!
