Vehicle Description
1965 Chevrolet Corvette
This is a gorgeous 1965 Corvette Stingray Fastback that has just
been frame-off restored (98 miles on the odometer) and is ready to
hit the road and be enjoyed.
The car is powered by a date-coded, correct 327ci V-8 that is tied
to a 4-speed manual transmission and stock rear-end. The entire
drivetrain has been completely rebuilt and done back to full
factory specifications including all ancillary parts. As you can
see from the photographs, the engine bay is immaculate and looks
just as it did when it rolled off the factory floor in 1965.
The Corvette's body and chassis were completely disassembled and
redone from the frame up, taking great care to fully prep the car
for the incredible paint work to be done. The undercarriage was
completely stripped, sand-blasted and prepped prior to being
finished in black. The same was done to the body which was finished
to show quality in its original color of Nassau Blue. The paint
work is absolutely flawless and complete attention to detail was
given in every aspect of its finish. All of the glass, rubber and
brightwork are also perfect and have been refurbished and/or
replaced wherever needed. The car is equipped with factory side
pipes, knock-off style wheels with new radial tires and the
stopping power comes from power disc brakes.
Inside the fastback has a brand-new leather interior finished in
matching blue. The car is a pleasure to drive with power steering,
fully functioning gauge set (including the clock) and a factory
AM/FM radio in the dash. Like the exterior, nothing was left
untouched and the car is as pristine inside as it is out.
If you are in the market for an incredibly restored C2 Corvette
that is as reliable as it is beautiful...then this is the one for
you.
