1940 Ford Deluxe Convertible Club Coupe
A high-quality restoration with just over 7,800 miles
A well-sorted, extremely straight car with high quality tan paint that is smooth and shiny and still looks stunning. Stands out as a “near original” with some of the 50s look that is very popular now. Tastefully upgraded for looks, safety and drivability, this 40 Ford Convertible is a very solid original that has been beautifully restored and treated with respect. It could easily be transformed back to “original” with minimal effort.
In addition to a recently rebuilt engine, features include freshly chromed bumpers and bumper guards, and a new grille guard with recently polished stainless trim and nice glass all around; new dual outside mirrors, bright LED glass tail lights and front and rear seat belts (for safety); newly restored Ford Deluxe hub caps, chrome beauty rings and maroon colored rims wrapped in new 15-inch Diamond Back Classic white wall radial tires -- 195's up front and 235's at the rear give it a great looking stance and smooth ride. Has a new vacuum-powered LeBaron Bonney tan canvas convertible top and custom boot with glass zip down rear window. Inside are a newly restored dash, steering wheel and heater, and a new tan LeBaron Bonney vinyl interior with custom high quality carpets to match. Even the trunk has been restored with a new rubber mat and upholstered panels, spare tire cover and carpet. The original tube radio, windup clock and water-based heater have been restored and are fully functional.
Not only does this restored Ford look good, it runs like a champ as well.
