This 1974 Ferrari Dino 246 GTS (chassis #08242) is a
late-production Series E example and one of 1,274 246 GTS models
produced. Power is provided by the original 2.4-liter DOHC V6,
which is paired with a dogleg-pattern five-speed manual gearbox and
a ZF limited-slip differential. Finished in Giallo Fly over Pelle
Beige, the car is equipped with Daytona-style seat inserts, power
windows, and a Becker Europa radio. A $48k CAD service was
performed by Ferrari of Vancouver in 2014 and included an engine
reseal, new water pump and thermostat housing, radiator and heater
core rebuilds, new engine mounts, a suspension rebuild, four-wheel
alignment, a new clutch cable, and much more as outlined below. The
car was purchased 15 years ago by the seller, who believes she is
the fifth registered owner. It was Ferrari Classiche-certified in
2011 and received a "Red Book" as pictured below. This Dino is now
offered in West Vancouver with service records dating back to 1983,
a jack and spare, a tool kit, and British Columbia registration.
