Vehicle Description
Chevrolet built the Chevelle from 1964 through 1977 in three
generations. It was a mid-size car that was one of GM's best
selling nameplates of these years, and the reason I believe that
was the case because you could get them in a tame family style car
or wagon or you could get them with the optional muscle car
engines, transmissions and upgraded trim. This particular Chevelle
is one of those fire breathing muscle cars finished in the awesome
color of Placer Gold over black. This car is a true LS-5 as
indicated by the registry and the original build sheet....well most
of it. This car has had a meticulous restoration to mostly stock
with the exception of the intake, which the original comes with the
car as does the air cleaner. This is a Cowl Induction optioned car
that is also in excellent working order. This car from what we can
tell has had four owners from new but only two titled owners as
this car still sits on the NJ title last registered in 1979. This
car is very correct down to the exhaust set up, chrome valve
covers, flat gray paint on hood latches and hinges, Harrison
radiator and much more. This SS is a must see car and is ready for
anything. It starts, runs and drives perfectly with an excellent
sound.
