European Motor Studio is very excited to offer this rare 1995 Mercedes-Benz SL600 V12 roadster finished in all original Imperial Red paint over Parchment leather interior. After leaving the Stuttgart factory line in December of 1994, this SL600 was then invoiced to Mercedes-Benz North America and shipped to Valley Imports in Fargo North Dakota where it sold to its first owner on April 19, 1995 in the amount of $123, 425. The car lived with the first owner in North Dakota until moving to Bonita Springs Florida in February 2003 with the second owner and final owner. This SL has been serviced routinely at Valley Imports in North Dakota, Mercedes-Benz of Naples and a Mercedes-Benz specialty shop in Florida. The car comes with a very extensive service file dating back to brand new including early dealer service stampings and recent service and repairs up to 2019. The Imperial Red paint has been paint metered and is original top to bottom with consistent readings on all the panels (the front lower bumper has been painted). There is no body damage or scratches anywhere on the car and absolutely no rust anywhere to be found. The interior is exceptional and the leather is very soft and clearly shows signs of indoor storage and care through ownership. The carpets are in excellent shape with very lite signs of use but overall very clean. The wood is outstanding showing no signs of cracking or fading (one small crack in the passenger door wood trim around the seat controls). The leather dash top shows no signs of lifting or shrinkage from the sun. All of the gauges still have their original orange color and all of the switchgear shows no signs of wear. The wood sliding console works perfectly and all of the plastic tape holders work. The original Mercedes cellular phone is still present in the center console as is the phone pad behind the upper dash door. The convertible top is original and shows very well for the age. Very lite yellowing has started on the plastic windows but still visible to see out of. All of the electrical components of the car are operating as designed. The AC is ice cold, the heater blows hot, the power windows, door locks, power mirrors, power review mirror, power seats including the headrests, heated seats, power roll bar, power convertible top and the hardtop, power antenna and factory radio. The V12 6 liter engine starts right up and idles dead smooth as it should. It pulls incredibly smooth and with tons of torque and smooth power output. The transmission shifts through all of the gears smoothly and the suspension is soft yet firm. The front end is very tight with no alignment issues or looseness. A major service has just been performed along with a new alternator, new battery, new tires, the infamous wiring harness has been replaced with a new one, all of the hydraulic cylinders in the top have just been replaced along with the interior cubby box cylinders, front suspension valve block has been rebuilt with a fluid flush and both throttle bodies rebuilt. This SL600 has had all of the major items performed and the car is absolutely ready to enjoy. Accompanied with the sale of this SL600 is a very extensive service file dating back to brand new, a complete set of factory books with original dealer service stampings and signatures, an original laser cut switch blade key, the original window sticker and dealer prep sticker, the first aid kit and a clean and clear title and Carfax.
